Not Much Loving and lots of Hauling!

No favourites of the week this week, mainly because I'm still adoring the things I have been using recently and haven't introduced any new products into the mix (although if you read on you'll see that I've been having a good old splurge today so expect some reviews soon!)

On a side note, I have been using the Clinique palette I bought a couple of months ago (see my very first post!).  It's been getting a lot of love this week.  If you don't own it and have blue eyes, I can highly recommend it. Great colours, great colour pay off and blend very well. Link

What this week lacks in favourites it makes up for with some great hauling!

Beauty and skincare first (as always!)...

I'm coming close to the end of my beloved Emma Hardie cleansing balm and Amelia from Liana Beauty had recommended this The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil.  Having switched to using an oil based cleanser a year ago I've seen a huge improvement in my skin so I wanted to try something new.  The Camomile Eye Make Up remover looked interesting too and was only an extra £3 when bought with the cleanser....it would be rude not to really wouldn't it?!

I have a couple of Revlon lip butters, now they're not my absolute favourite (when stacked up against a Tom Ford lipstick it's not even a fair contest is it?!)  but, they do the job well, are moisturising, wearable and are cheap as chips!  I've been meaning to get this one for a while in 'Wild Watermelon'. It's a lovely coral red that can be sheered out or built up to be a bit more bold.  I plan on wearing it with a bit of gold on my eyes and oodles of bronzer when we get some warmer weather! :)

L'Oreal nail varnishes.  Now these are a new one for me, being a girl that doesn't stray too much from Chanel, Essie and Barry M nail for her nails!

I spotted some 'gel' ones whilst I was perusing the mascaras (I mooched around for so long looking at mascaras that I managed to talk myself out of buying one!)  I hadn't realised how many beautiful shades L'Oreal have in their nail varnish range and I've  made a mental list of a few more I want to get! I wanted something fairly muted to wear to work in the week and selected 'Beige Boheme' - a sort of muted pink.  These go on very easily but they are a two-coat job to get a nice gel like shine.  I likey :) There's a pistachio coloured one I have my eye on next. I rate these a lot and I like that they're really small (despite the fact that you probably get a lot less polish - but who EVER finishes a nail varnish?!)

Then I went to Zara...and it was good!!! I could easily have spent a grand in there today. No lie!

The fact that I made two visits to the dressing room (damn you Zara for only allowing me to take 6 items in at once!!) should be some indication to you of how much good was actually going on in there today!

I wasn't in the mood for trying on clothes today so for now I've just taken a few piccies to show you all.  I'm sure you'll be seeing some OOTD posts soon of me sporting my new purchase so please bear with the crappy pictures for now!

First up is this beautiful little plain cotton white top.  I pictured wearing this with skinny black trousers and heels for the evening or even with jeans and flats for day time.  It's very versatile.  You can get this here

I think I was feeling in a bit of a 'sports luxe' kind of mood today too, I wasn't sure about this top on the hanger but when I put it on (with the trousers...keep reading!) I really like it and can also picture this with a nice white pair of shorts in the Summer.  Apologies the picture isn't fantastic, it is actually navy!  I also spotted some 'sports luxe' sort of sandals, I think I'll get a lot of wear out of these, they can be dressed up to be a bit smarter or dressed down quite casually.  Top here and Sandals here

Finally I spotted these casual trousers / smart tracksuit bottoms.  Since buying a similar pair in an olive colour from Topshop I've really enjoyed wearing them and fancied a pair in a different colour.  I was worried these would be a bit see through but they're actually pretty thick and are very very comfortable.  They look great with the sandals but would look equally good with some flat ballet style shoes.  They look a lot better on than they do on the hanger, I can assure you!  Not on the Zara website yet but I'm sure they will be soon!

That is all for now.  I have made a few little sneaky online orders this week too so I'll share with you soon.  I feel a few OOTD posts a-coming!

Hope you've all had a great weekend and are ready for the week ahead :)
