OOTD and Bank Holiday #1

Well...here we are on Tuesday and I feel like I've been off work forever (in actual fact it's only been a few days but when you manage to make the most of 'time off' it seems to last a lot longer don't you think? - or is that just me?!)

To kick off the UK Bank Holiday weekend I went to visit my parents on Saturday afternoon.  The weather has finally perked up in the UK and this weekend marked the first 'shorts' outing! Yep, my St Tropez coated pins made their first official debut in shorts for 2015 (and yep, when the sun went behind the clouds I was indeed shivering! haha)

I've also devised a very cunning way of getting the OH to take photos for my blog - by springing the camera on him during dog walks, it works very well! :)

Quick run down of what I'm wearing here.....

Sunglasses  -  The Row -  you can get them HERE

Top - River Island - you can get it HERE

Blazer - Zara - bought a couple of years ago but similar one HERE

Shorts - eBay - vintage Levi 501 cut offs - they also sell these in Topshop at the moment

Shoes - Valentino Rockstud flats - I've had mine for a while now but you can get them quite a few places online or in places like Selfridges if you're lucky enough to live near London!

Bag - Chanel Classic Jumbo Flap in Lambskin Leather - recent 'present to myself' purchase - I got mine on Vestiaire Collective HERE

Bracelet and Necklace - both HRH Collection, get them HERE

I curled my hair also, something I don't do very often but when I do I wonder why I don't do it more frequently because I really like the effect! I've made a mental note to not be so lazy and get the curling wand out a bit more often in future!

My parents live in a beautiful area a fair few miles away from Cardiff (where I live now).  It wasn't the most ideal place to be when I was a teenager growing up (isolated, away from everything - you get the picture!) however now it's definitely my happy place.  Somewhere I can get away from all the hustle and bustle of city living and where I feel truly relaxed.   The garden and surroundings are beautiful and my Mum always has something yummy to eat when I arrive! I love my parents house and find it very difficult to leave once I'm there!

We sat and ate macaroons and coffee in the garden whilst having a bit of a catch up.  Home sweet Home :)

Part two on it's way shortly - all about my trip to London :)

What have you been up to this bank holiday weekend?
