More MAC Eyeshadows

New MAC Eyeshadow....because I really needed more, right?!

Last weekend I went into MAC and hadn't planned to buy anything but then I spotted the new M.A.Cnificent Me Collection and sparks of joy started to get in the way of reason.... I ended up purchasing the x 9 Eyeshadow Palette from this collection. :)

Those who follow me on Snapchat (elisabethrilatt) will have seen me snap this when I bought it, but I wanted to wear it a bit this week before I wrote a review on it for you.

Having been a huge fan of the Amber Times Nine and the Burgundy Times Nine palettes earlier on this year I did get a little rush of excitement when I spotted a new version in this collection.

These palettes are such good value for money, wonderful for travelling and this new version is a great Autumn palette because of the muted colours.  I'm picturing these eyeshadows going very well with all the items I'd like to buy from 'All Saints' at the moment actually! (side note - I've decided that my entire Winter wardrobe will consist of All Saints and Zara!!)

Anyway, back to the palette...

I've been wearing a few different combinations this week and I'm pleased to report that I think that this is a fantastic palette that you can create a very understated look from as well as something downright smoky and sultry!  It really is very very versatile and all the colours very wearable.

Top Row - Macnificent Me / Quiet Type / Dance In The Dark
Middle Row - Fabulous DNA / Pleasing to the Eye / Sable
Bottom Row - Frankly Frosty / In My Element / Cool Complement

I like to use either 'Macnificent Me' or 'Fabulous DNA' as my base shade followed by 'Pleasing to the Eye' in the crease (this is a great graduation crease shade by the way!) and then either 'Quiet Type' or 'Sable' on the lid with a bit of 'Dance in the Dark' pushed into the lash line.

The sparkly colour 'In My Element' is great to push on over the lid for a more evening appropriate look.

So all in all I am very impressed and would recommend this gorgeous and useful little palette to you all if you can get your hands on it.  I've noticed that it's already sold out on MAC's UK website but you may be lucky and still be able to grab one in store.

Hope you're all having a good weekend! Back soon with a foundation review!
