Lily and Rose Jewellery / 'Evening Out' Outfit

A few weeks ago I was approached by jewellery designers, Lily and Rose to select some pieces of jewellery from their gorgeous range online (cue little squeal of excitement from me!).

Choosing was actually a lot more difficult than I originally thought, mainly due to the fact that they have so many charming pieces that appealed to me! Eventually though, after careful consideration, I picked a beautiful little bracelet and a couple of fancy rings.

Lily and Rose are a brand created by the designer, Therese Zetterberg, who also operates Zetterberg Couture.  The two brands are designed to complement each other.  Her beautiful designs are inspired by fashion, architecture and a mixture of vintage and crown jewels.

Interesting fact - The name 'Lily and Rose' is actually a tribute to the TV show 'Sex and The City' (a series that inspired Therese when she was just 16!) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt's daughters in the show are called Lily and Rose!

I love the intricacy, femininity and shapes of her designs and actually, when I received the items they look even prettier in person and the quality is exceptional (the bracelet in particular, it has been worn almost every day since I received it and is still in perfect condition!)

They also have an Instagram Account worth checking out here - https://www.instagram.com/lilyandrosebyzetterberg/

The Bracelet

The Miss Miranda in 'Silk' - Link!

My favourite piece and as I mentioned above, this has been on my wrist pretty much every day since I got it! It's so different to any of the other bracelets I own, being a lot more delicate and intricate and I love how the stones catch the light.  It's what I would call 'minimal bling'- very sophisticated and feminine and adds a nice little touch, but isn't too 'in yer face' if you know what I mean!

I absolutely adore it and the best part is that it's made in so many different colour combinations.  The 'Silk' version I chose has very pale pink stones in it and I love how it looks next to the skin.  It is adjustable to suit your wrist size (I have unusually large wrists for a woman and it fits me fine!)

I'm already eyeing up other colours in the same style and also have a soft spot for the 'Miss Sofia Pearl Creme' bracelet too!- Link!

The Rings

Lady Di in 'Jet' - Link!

As soon as I saw these on the website I fell in love with the shape. I like the fact that the stone isn't quite central on the band and it looks gorgeous when worn.

I really enjoy wearing a dress-ring on a night out and chose two versions of the 'Lady Di' ring I knew I would get a lot of use out of - both related to black! (obviously!)

And don't you just love the name of this ring?! :)

The rings are adjustable at the back (great for me, because just like my wrists, I also have abnormally large knuckles and it means I can tighten the ring slightly when it's on my finger so it doesn't slide around!)

I wore the Lady Di in 'Jet' on a night out recently and my friend Sian actually commented on how gorgeous the ring looked - a perfect excuse to tie in a 'what I wore out' to this post right?! :)

So here I am wearing the ring and also my new(ish!) Sophia Webster sandals!

Outfit Details

Blazer - Zara (old, but when is Zara ever NOT stocking a plain black blazer!)
Blouse - Zara (last season but a basic wrap over style shirt that is a staple for me on evening's out!)

Lily and Rose are now shipping to the UK, so if you're looking for some good quality, pretty jewellery for all different tastes (I chose quite simple pieces but they do a lot more lavish and detailed pieces if you're looking for something a bit more fancy!) go and have a look at the website www.lilyandrose.com and let me know if you get anything! :)
